In Solidarity with Gaza

Milwaukee Vigil for Peace and Justice in Gaza: over 500 gathered in support of the end of the siege on Gaza. Br. Othman Atta led the event with an overview of the situation some are calling a holocaust on the Palestinians. "We call on our government to end the billions of tax dollars we give to Israel on an annual basis as well as the delivery of modern weaponry that Israel uses to occupy and terrorize the Palestinian population." As of Friday 1/16/09 over 1100 Palestinians have been killed, over 700 estimated women and children civilians while 13 Israeli defence forces have been killed, 4 due to 'friendly fire.
